Tetsuji Osano is a master craftsman based in Fujikawaguchiko, Japan, an area near Lake Kawaguchiko at the base of Mt. Fuji. Komatsu Stone Vertical Slit Lamp
A hand-crafted stone lamp made from Komatsu stone. Komatsu stone is a type of volcanic rock considered to be among the top class of stones available in Japan, alongside Mannnari stone and Aji stone. The lighting element is an LED embedded within the vertical stone, and it escapes through an acrylic plate and a small hole in the center. A red stone from Sado Island is placed within the hole.
The lamp is compatible with 100V (Japan) and 110V (United States) currents. Additional adapters may be required for use outside of Japan and the United States.
