Tetsuji Osano is a master craftsman based in Fujikawaguchiko, Japan, an area near Lake Kawaguchiko at the base of Mt. Fuji. Several times a year, he travels to remote locations throughout Japan to find rocks he deems suitable for crafting into a lamp. Each lamp is carefully handcrafted in his studio and sent with care by the craftsman himself.

A hand-crafted stone lamp made from Komatsu stone sourced from Manazuru, Kanagawa, Japan. Komatsu stone is a type of volcanic rock considered to be among the top class of stones available in Japan, alongside Mannnari stone and Aji stone. A single acrylic plate provides a path for the light inside to escape. The lighting element is LED.
A USB cable is included, allowing purveyors of unique furniture throughout the globe to use a standard USB adapter to power the lamp.
